Mike Huckabee Interview at Hudson Union Society Luncheon

Direct Link

This 47-minute sit-down interview was conducted on November 17, 2008. Mike Huckabee speaks to the Hudson Union Society in Manhattan, New York, telling them about his new book, about his experiences in the 2008 Republican primaries, talks about Barack Obama and his soon-to-be administration, the Fair Tax, and even takes questions from the dining audience members. It is yet another very in-depth, revealing, and insightful interview of Governor Huckabee.

Mike Huckabee Interview on the Rachel Maddow Show

Direct Link

I didn't appreciate much of what Maddow said in the first 4 minutes of the video posted (fast forward if you want to see only Huckabee), but this was an interesting interview. Once again, this interview shows that Mike Huckabee can get hardcore liberals/Democrats to genuinely like him and see his point of view on many things. Maddow despises Republicans and conservatives, but she conducts a fair interview here, allowing Governor Huckabee ample time to speak and explain himself. She was also able to find some common ground between herself and Huckabee at the end of the interview, sharing some laughs and pleasant talk.

"Do The Right Thing" - Mike Huckabee's New Book

Mike Huckabee's new book, Do The Right Thing: Inside the Movement That's Bringing Common Sense Back to America, chronicles the amazing campaign that Huckabee ran during the 2008 Republican primaries. How did a relatively unknown Governor of Arkansas come in second place during the primaries with less than 1/10th of the budget (only $16 million) that other candidates had? Huckabee tells us, as well as many touching stories in regards to his supporters, in this new book set to release November 18.

The book will also show insight into and give suggestions as to how the Republican party can regain its former success: by bringing back true conservatism and practicing true conservative principles.

There will also be a 17-day, 53-city book tour planned for this release. And no, I'm not being paid to promote Huckabee's books.

With America electing Barack Obama as our next President, John McCain losing, and most of Congress being overtaken by liberals and Democrats, the GOP needs a new, true conservative leader to vote for when 2012 comes around. What better candidate than Governor Mike Huckabee? With Huckabee's successful new show on Fox News Channel and this new book, he is off to a great start in his journey for a potential 2012 run. I hope people read all of Mike Huckabee's books and come to understand what great things Mike Huckabee can do for the United States.

Mike Huckabee's 2008 RNC Speech

All speeches, cut to Mike Huckabee's portion:

Mike Huckabee spoke to the Republican National Convention on the eve of John McCain's acceptance speech, joined by former Governor Mitt Romney, former mayor Rudy Giuliani, and the Governor of Alaska and Vice Presidential nominee, Sarah Palin.

This speech covered a lot of ground, endorsing John McCain and Sarah Palin, while also making several points against the Democratic party's ticket of Obama/Biden. The most powerful and emotional portion of his speech came at the end, when he spoke about our veterans earning our freedom for all of us. John McCain, like him or not, was certainly one of those veterans who paid for our freedom, by giving up his own for 5+ years.
